Last year, on April 28, I was 4 days away from picking up my Alto in Quebec. It was an amazing trip eastbound so I wanted to share a few of my favorite photo memories from that journey.
On the first full day of my trip, I got snowed on in Idaho and Montana. A year later, I’m just about to get snowed on in Colorado. Some things never change, and my crazy superpower of bringing precipitation is still strong.
Walking across the headwaters of the Mississippi River was definitely fun! (And thanks again, Linda, for telling me about it so I didn’t miss it.)
Seeing Niagara Falls was so awesome that I’m going again this fall. I always thought it was a sort of cheesy tourist trap, but I was dead wrong. It’s unbelievably cool.
Honorable mention goes to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, home to the most wonderful food ever invented (originally by the Cornish in England), the pasty. OMG, I want one just looking at this picture.
Each day of my trip, I made a photo with a quotation on it, and this one is still my theme song after almost a year of vagabonding.
Where were YOU a year ago today?
