Got there Friday afternoon, left Monday morning, with one nephew who very much wanted to see stars, nebulas, galaxies, and planets magnified through a telescope I hauled down from Seattle for the occasion.
One star-gazing session at Glacier Point, one pre-dawn planetfest on the valley floor. Two nights of staring up at the Milky Way with nothing but eyeballs, spotting satellites and constellations. One early morning wait for the International Space Station, waving as it flew across the sky.
So many stars, so many views, so many memories. And some photographs to share.
